Statikos Schediasmos office consists of structural engineers who combine experience and enthusiasm to analyze and design projects of any scale with the aim of applying engineering regulations and science as well as meeting customer requirements (owner, manufacturer). Our target is to create projects that combine safety-economy-constructivity.
Grigorios Katsanos
Lead Structural Engineering
Grigorios Katsanos is a Structural Engineering with an experience for 20 years graduated from National Technical University of Athens. His thesis in Steel Structural Analysis (professor of steel structures NTUA Ioannidis Georgios) “ULS & SLS design of steel structure building supporting 2 heavy moving cranes” awarded from technical library of TEE (technical chamber of Greek Civil Engineers).
Career History
He is a structural Engineer, registered/chartered for structural and general design, experienced in structural analysis and design of major buildings and industrial structures using structural steel, reinforced concrete and composite materials. Masonry, timber and aluminum structural design. Specialized in steel structures and designing projects of considerable size and complexity, leading team of designers and collaborating with other design teams (architects and mechanical engineers) in larger groups. Site and shop inspection supporting quality of the construction.
Christos Papadopoulos
Lead Structural Engineer
Christos Papadopoulos obtained his diploma in Structural Engineering and his MSc postgraduate degree in “Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures” (ADERS) from National Technical University of Athens. He obtained his second Msc degree, as a European Union grant-holder and research scientist in Laboratoire “Sols, Solids, Structures”, of Grenoble University ‘Joseph Fourier’. He is a registered consultant engineer (C’ class top degree) in structural and geotechnical designs.
Career History
He is active over more than 30 years as a Structural Engineering Consultant and has directed and carried out numerous public and private design projects. Several of his projects have been presented in conferences and have been published in technical journals. He is highly experienced in the fields of structural and earthquake engineering, power and harbor plants and terminals, road and railway infrastructure projects, soil-structure interaction, performance-based design, and risk analysis against hazards.
